California Legislation CSB supports the efforts of California State Senator Dean Florez (http://dist16.casen.govoffice.com) in his effort to pass Senate Bills (SB) 70-76. These seven bills will provide the incentives necessary for building a sustainable biodiesel industry in the State of California and for addressing the health issues that diesel school buses present. Specifically, SB 72 mandates that all diesel-powered school buses in California run on at least a 20-percent blend (B20) of biodiesel. If you are a resident of California, CSB urges you to contact your local representatives and the Governor in urging them to pass and sign this very important legislative initiative.
